Vistana Hotel Yee Sang Promotion

VISTANA Hotel Kuala Lumpur is ushering in the lunar new year with a scrumptious spicy Thai yee sang promotion.
Patrons will be in for a treat as the yee sang is served with fresh salmon, lots of hot cili padi, dried chilli powder, plum sauce, pickled ginger, fish sauce and lime leaves for a tangy taste at Vistana Restaurant.
According to Vistana Hotels’ chef de hotel Chew Hock Seng, the restaurant has been serving Thai yee sang for several years now and the response has been very good.
“Because of the spicy taste of the yee sang, even our Malay customers like it,” he said.
Customers can also take away the yee sang for RM55 nett for a small portion (four to six persons) or RM80 for the large portion.
For the hotel’s Chinese New Year food promotion, Vistana Restaurant’s Chef Tan and his team have created three eight-course menus, available now till March 4.
Menu A, priced at RM588 nett for a table of 10, comprises braised shark’s fin soup with crab meat and dried scallops, crispy roast chicken, deep fried sea bass with sweet and sour sauce, braised vegetables with black mushroom, tau kan and fatt choy.
Menu B has dishes such as braised shark’s fin soup with bamboo pith and shredded chicken, Pi Pa sesame chicken, deep fried garoupa with chef’s special black pepper sauce, braised broccoli with black mushroom and pacific clams. It is priced at RM688 nett for a table of 10.
Menu C, at RM788 nett, includes braised shark’s fin soup with crab meat, shrimp and dried scallops, crispy roast duck, steamed red snapper with black fungus and bean curd skin, pan fried tiger prawns in salted egg yolk, braised vegetables with black mushroom, sea cucumber and dried oysters.
For dessert, patrons will be treated to sweetened longan and black sesame thing yuen with Sweet ginger tea.
